PAIGE and KALEB began swimming (not well but enough not to drown) without floaters today! They were at a party at Sharon and Rich's and they were doing so well we could throw them in and they could make it to the side of the pool! Very good job guys!

RILEY has successfully made it through an entire weekend without her pacifer! She lost it Saturday morning which moved our timeline up a bit but she did well! She even attempted going potty this morning before getting changed! She is getting so big!

PAIGE lost another tooth today! It is her second tooth and it was on the bottom. It was just dangling in there so Daddy pulled it out with pliers! She thought it would hurt but she didn't feel a thing! Daddy was super quick! She got a visit from the toothfairy and she got a whopping $1 (4 quarters)!

KALEB had to get his other front tooth pulled today. It got a boo boo from falling off his bike when he was 2 and it was ready for it to come out! He was very brave and only screamed for a few minutes!

I have not added any stories lately but this has been a busy summer! PAIGE wanted us to hit up a farm sometime this summer so I think that is left on our list. We have been to the Zoo, the Children's Museum of Phoenix and we have changed to a new daycare! I can't believe school is starting again in 3 weeks and both KALEB and PAIGE will be attending!
RILEY is starting to be a little ham. She started to sing Twinkle Twinkle and do the hand movements. I have been trying to get her on video but she never performs right when I need her to! I will keep trying!Comments:Add a comment:

Kids really do say the funniest things! PAIGE was telling us about a boy at her school. His name is Jessie. Jeremy and I were taking Paige for her special day since she graduated from kindergarten and we were in the car on the way to a movie.
She was telling us how he loved Barbies, has My Little Ponies, and his favorite colors are pink and purple. Paige has been having some trouble getting along with kids at school so I whispered to Jeremy "Awesome! Only boy Paige gets along with at school is G-A-Y!" I spelled it out so she wouldn't know what I said and she yells out "Yeah right! G-A-Y spells Jessie!" Let's hope she doesn't remember that by next year!Comments:Add a comment:

OK so it is official - we have ended the very first full year of Kindergarten! PAIGE has finished for the year and she received all E's on her report card (except working well with others and working independently - but for academics, she earned highest marks across the board!). For her special day, we got her ears pierced and we went to lunch at Olive Garden (her choice) and saw a movie! What a fun day!

PAIGE was talking about her hair this morning in the car (after long discussions about white hair and how that indicates death - her words, not mine, the prior day) and she said her hair was turning white but where did the yellow go? I told her that it was summer and her hair changes colors because of the sun and she replied "Oh I get it. It is hibernating!"

We just got back from our very first trip to Disneyland! PAIGE, KALEB, MOM and DAD all went. Riley got to stay home with Miss Kathy because she was too little but we really missed her. We got to play at California Adventure and Disneyland.
We had breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen and met 8 characters (Pluto, Goofy, Chip and Dale, Snow White, Cruela Devile, Captain Hook, and Belle) and had a very silly breakfast (lots of candy options). We got to dance and sing with Goofy and the gang and it was so much fun!
We also had a Princess Lunch at Ariel's Grotto. We met 5 Princesses: Ariel, Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and Belle. The food at this lunch was AMAZING! The Princesses were so pretty and nice! They signed our autograph books and we got to take our picture with them!
We went on nearly every ride and the train and the tram! It was a great experience and we can't wait to get back out there to have another! Check out the pictures in the album!Comments:Add a comment:
